Ethics and Sustainability 

These words do not mean the same thing to everyone. Here are some quick facts on our ethical and environmental practices.

• We consult with environmental sustainably experts on our business practices and create action plans. Our sustainability and ethical considerations are based on UN's Sustainable Development Goals.  
• We practice zero-waste. Even the smallest scrap of material gets used. We through nothing away because everything has a purpose.
• We utilize compostable or recyclable packaging 
• We prevent overproduction by producing very small batches. We do not send unsold garments or samples to landfill. These are donated back to our community for persons in need. 
• We do not work with leather or fur or their synthetic alternatives. We do work with protein fibers like silk and wool. 
• All of our designs are produced in Montreal or Vancouver, Canada by highly skilled artisans in our studio or by carefully selected partners that share our values. Our studio pays living wages and benefits. We offer safe working conditions and a flexible work arrangement for all our team mates.
